Everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and heard. In partnership with Sacramento County, Turning Point Community Programs is proud to present this resource page — a space filled with resources, support, and tools to help young people, families, and communities take action. Whether you’re struggling, supporting a friend, or just seeking to learn more, this is a safe place to start!
988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, in emotional distress, or thinking about suicide—you don’t have to face it alone. The 988 Lifeline is here for you.
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Just dial 988 to connect with a trained crisis counselor who will listen, support you, and help you find a way forward—no judgment, no pressure, and no cost. Whether you’re reaching out for yourself or someone you care about, help is just a call or text away.

Mental Health Urgent Care Clinic
Immediate Support for Mental Health Crises.
No Appointment Needed.
Open daily, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day!
Sometimes you need help right now. The Mental Health Urgent Care Clinic (MHUCC) provides walk-in support for children and teens who are experiencing a mental health crisis, emotional distress, or need stabilization — without the need for an emergency room.
Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, mood swings, hallucinations, or just don’t know where else to turn—you are welcome here. Our compassionate team will help stabilize the situation and connect you with what’s next.
Community Wellness Response Team
The Community Wellness Response Team (CWRT) is a Sacramento County program in partnership with WellSpace 988 and BACS that is here to support individuals of all ages in Sacramento County who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Instead of sending law enforcement, CWRT offers a caring, community-based response —because help should feel safe, not scary.
If someone calls 988 and needs in-person support, the call is routed to a CWRT dispatcher who sends a trained two-person response team directly to the person in crisis — whether that’s at home, school, or out in the community. The team provides on-the-spot emotional support, de-escalation, and help connecting to resources and referrals tailored to the person’s needs.
