The Triage and Engagement Program responds throughout Stanislaus County as a follow-up to the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). The Triage and Engagement Program provides a wide range of triage services to adults with mental illness, substance use issues, and/or emotional disorders, who may be experiencing a crisis or in need of supportive services to address needs and reduce the risk of further crisis intervention services, which may include homelessness or being at risk of homelessness. Connection to this program helps individuals in getting connected to assessments to identify what other services and resources they may need.
Referrals come exclusively through the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
