MODESTO OUTDOOR EMERGENCY SHELTER (MOES) provides peer-supported outreach and engagement services to individuals experiencing homelessness in Stanislaus County. Services at MOES include engagement, behavioral health services, peer support, and assistance with locating housing. With one of the primary goals of engaging individuals with shelter or housing options that are safe and secure and permanent, the program encourages, facilitates, and supports progress and activities leading toward housing and stability. The MOES team assists with developing a transition and housing plan while also providing linkages to public benefits, involving these individuals in all decision-making steps along the way.
