2009

·         In mid-July 2009, it is expected that the Executive Council for the Continuum of Care in Merced County will award Turning Point a $248,000 HUD grant for two years.

·         A UC Davis grant of $10,000 was given to Turning Point for an obesity study, matched by an additional $10,000 gift from Roy W. Smith Foundation.

 ·         Keys to Hope program awarded $137,000 in housing subsidies to Turning Point’s Pathways to Success After Homelessness program. 

 

2008

·         HUD McKinney-Vento homeless assistance funds of $474,160 were awarded to Turning Point in Stanislaus County.

 ·         $25,000 was granted to Pine Tree Gardens from Roy W. Smith Foundation for Cool Beans, a consumer-run coffee cart.

  ·         Pat Williams gave $200,000 to Pine Tree Gardens, a Davis residential program.  

·         UPS Foundation’s Pacific Region Sac Valley District recommended $8,666 to support Turning Point’s immersion recovery-oriented training programs.

 ·         Delta Dental sponsored holiday gifts for 74 children in Turning Point’s Children’s FOCUS program.

 

2007   

·         HUD McKinney-Vento homeless assistance funds in the amount of $292,572 are awarded for Stanislaus County permanent supportive housing subsidies.

 ·         Employment Services Program-Modesto was awarded $50,000 by Kaiser Permanente.

 ·         Roy W. Smith Foundation gave $15,000 for Pine Tree Garden (PTG) kitchen renovations.
