In addition to offering coffee, drinks, snacks and sandwiches for sale in the Herbert Bauer Health and Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Building in Woodland, Cool Beans! can take care of your catering needs — including pastries, coffee, beverages or sandwiches from Elephant Hut.

Cool Beans! coffee + eats is a training and employment program for adults with disabilities in Yolo County. Employment offers “a reason to get up, not give up,” and is an important step in recovery.

Turning Point CEO John Buck said, “We're thrilled with this training program, because everyone benefits.”

Mental Health Services Act funds supported the start up of this business which has trained nine people so far.
